Hi, I’m Gabriela.

I’m a visual artist and teacher, and my work lives where gesture, memory, and material meet.

I work with mixed media monoprints, wax, ink, and paper—layering, pressing, lifting, and letting images appear rather than forcing them. My process is intuitive and physical. I care about movement, pauses, and what happens beneath the surface.

Over the years, I’ve explored encaustic, monotypes, collage, and Zen-inspired mark making as ways to reconnect with the body and the inner voice. I believe materials speak when we give them space.

I know how hard it can be to loosen control, to trust your intuition, or to begin again. In my classes, I guide you through simple but powerful processes that help you let go, experiment, and find your own visual language.

This is not about perfect prints.

It’s about presence, curiosity, and making work that feels honest.
